Ambassadors to Honduras
Two
opportunities for travel to Honduras are available this year. The first is
the Ambassador Trip from Thursday, April 8th through Tuesday, April 13th.
The purpose will be to visit the many projects that we have been involved
in; deliver donations and supplies for the new sewing classes at the
Presbyterian church, and; to dream and plan for the future with our many
friends there. We will not be doing physical labor on this trip and will
travel everywhere by bus. If you have wanted to meet our friends and see
their beautiful country, this might be the trip for you.
Our June
Work Trip will take place from June 23rd through June 30th. We will
be completing many projects in Nuevo Paraiso and Quebrada Grande. We will
provide Bible School, and worship with our friends in the Presbyterian
Church; visit Montana de Luz; and have a time to shop and go to dinner in a
Honduran restaurant. Please consider joining us. Call Sandy Boylan or

PNC Report
The Pastoral Nominating Committee (PNC)
has distributed or mailed your questionnaire. Please take time to fill yours
out and return to the church in a timely manner so your input can be
considered.

We invite you to help
us participate in a great program that has a multitude of benefits. Not
only will you be performing a valuable global and community service, you
will also be raising all-important funds for our church.
Paper
First Presbyterian is
participating in Paper Retriever Program sponsored by Abitibi Recycling.
Each ton of paper we collect earns money to help the church office budget.
You can help the church and yourself at the same time.
Collect your recycled paper and bring it to the church – there’s a bin in
the parking lot behind the church. You can drop your paper off at any
time.

We are now collecting
empty
HP and DELL only
inkjet and laser
cartridges. Inkjet cartridges can be placed in a sandwich bag deposited in
our collection bins located in the Narthex and the office. Cell phones and
laser cartridges can be dropped off at the office. We will take all makes
and styles of phones.
