Nursery and Preschool on Sunday mornings

Children from the age of one month through their fifth year may be taken to the Nursery on Sunday morning from 9:00a to 11:15a. Experienced and consistent caregivers are available. The Nursery is also open during most regular programming events and often during special worship times.

  • Pagers are made available to any parent requesting.

  • Same person needs to sign-in and sign-out your child.

  • Please bring a bag with your child’s personal items.

  • Parent should offer information if the child has been recently ill.

During the 9:00a Learning Groups hour, the Preschool children are gathered for Sunday School the Preschool classroom on the Main Floor (2).

The Nursery/Preschool area is located adjacent to the Heritage Room on the Main Floor (2).

Children • Grades 1 through 5

Children are invited to Faith Village in the Lower Level (1) of the Church for the 9:00a Sunday Learning Groups hour.

Children have a special class held in conjunction with the Wednesday Together program. A family meal is enjoyed in the Dining Room Lower Level (1) beginning at 5:45p followed by programming for all ages. Faith Village Lower Level (1) is located adjacent to the Dining Room for easy access. All children's activities are completed by 7:30p. Wednesday Together is held in October through November and then again after the first of the year. Consult the church calendar for specific dates.

Youth Classes on Sunday mornings • Grades 6 through 12

All youth meet together in the Youth Room on the Main Level (2) for 9:00a Sunday Learning Groups beginning with a time of fellowship. Then Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-12 may separate as assigned for a Scriptural-based lesson.

Adult Sunday Learning Groups

Partners with Christ is a class that studies Scripture and related topics using various teaching methods including discussion, reading, and video series. The class meets in Room 319 on the Upper Level (3).

Faith & Families uses resources that help families in their application of integrating Biblical teachings in daily life as they promote Christian homes. This class meets at 9a in the Dining Room on the Lower Level (1) and via ZOOM. (Contact children@firstpbc.org for information.)

Singers and Others is offered to meet the time constraints of those involved with 10:00a Worship. Others may join who want to have a concise time of discussion as assignments are given each week so that participants may be prepared. This class meets at 9a in Room 326 on the Upper Level (3). Topics of study are critically studied and prepared by competent leadership.
