Through our local missions programs, we partner with organizations and initiatives that address the needs of our neighbors, offering practical help and hope to those around us.

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters

    Our church has multiple congregational members that volunteer their time and resources to BBBS. We are always looking for interested individuals who want to serve as ‘bigs’ to youth in the community.

  • Bottoms Up

    Our church hosts an annual diaper drive to collect items for the diaper bank that supports local mothers and families across the community.

  • Christmas Baskets

    In cooperation with Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action, selected families are provided toys, clothes, cleaning products, basic food staples, plus supplies for a traditional Christmas dinner. The dinners are delivered to the families the Sunday before Christmas.

  • Connexion West

    Our church voluntarily provides and serves meals to youth the fourth Monday of each month, with fellowship time to follow.

  • CRU

    Our church financially and prayerfully supports several CRU missionaries who are local and international making disciples and spreading the Gospel.

  • Cub and Boy Scout Pack #5

    Our church financially supports local boy scouts through mini scholarships that allow them to attend summer camp.

  • Foundation Dinners

    Our church assembles a group of volunteers for shifts to cook and serve meals the fourth Friday of each month.

  • Foundation Shelters

    Our church raises funds and donations for the homeless of our community to provide them with essential resources and allow Foundation Shelters to keep their doors open for those who need it.

  • Gideon's Worldwide Bible Fund

    Our church donates funds toward new bibles that are distributed to several countries in hopes of spreading the Gospel across nations.

  • Habitat for Humanity of Fairfield Co.

    Our church assembles day groups for new home builds each season—a gratifying teamwork experience for a great cause.

  • Lutheran Social Services

    Our church accumulates non-perishable donations for the food pantry that serves thousands of families in our community per year.

  • Maywood Mission

    Our church volunteers onsite regularly at the food pantry and during seasonal events, while also supporting the mission financially.

  • Meals on Wheels—The Senior Hub

    Our church deploys volunteers for meal delivery routes on a weekly basis to serve older adults across Fairfield County.

  • Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center

    Our church financially supports the efforts of MCJDC Chaplain, Steve Telfer, who evangelizes to youth in detention centers in multiple counties across Central Ohio.

  • Pregnancy Decision Health Center

    Our church partners with PDHC to raise funds through a baby bottle collection in which members take home a plastic bottle to fill up with monetary donations that help with the mission of supporting expecting mothers.

  • Presbyterian Church U.S.A

    Our church participates in a year-end giving campaign that meets specific needs of people across the world.

  • St. Mary's

    Our church financially supports St. Mary’s ‘Boots for the Homeless’ project each fall/winter that goes toward the purchase of new, durable boots for hundreds of homeless men in our community.

  • The Lighthouse

    Our church compiles various donations to assist women and children who are survivors of domestic violence.

  • The Refuge

    Our church donates clothing items, toiletries, and basic needs to men seeking freedom from addiction.

  • The Salvation Army

    Our church contributes to various programming and social ministries, most prominently in the Christmas Cheer Campaign as red kettle bell-ringers.

  • Vineyard Food Pantry

    Our church collects food items regularly to keep the pantry stocked, while financially supporting their efforts to serve hundreds of people every week.

  • The Mission Committee meets at First Presbyterian Church the second Tuesday of each month during the evening. Financial updates, guest speakers, updates on new and existing needs from mission partners, and volunteer opportunities are discussed as part of the meeting agenda.
